Duty Done

Well, we dropped E off at school, and Caleb and I waited in zero lines to have my voice heard in this election.

The sticker reward was much appreciated!

His Eye's on the Elephant and Ass

On election eve night...

God reigns over the nations;
God is seated on his holy throne.
Psalm 47:8

After all the votes have been cast and counted...

The LORD [still] reigns, he is [still] robed in majesty;
the LORD is [forever] robed in majesty and [forever] armed with strength;
indeed, the world is established, firm and secure.
Psalm 93:1

At the Polls

Eleanor got to witness democracy in action today as she accompanied me to the polls for the 2013 presidential election.

We're teaching her early to always appreciate and exercise her right to vote and have her voice heard!

She may have slept through most of the experience, but I'll take that over crying any day.  That's still being a "good citizen" in my eyes.

We only had to wait outside in a line in the cold for a short bit.  The sticker made it totally worth it. ;)
