Saturday Sprays!

Saturday morning we visited the sprayground as a family right when it opened.  This happened to be the same one I took the kids to when Caleb was a couple of months old and only a wee little baby.  Things have really changed since then!  Now Eleanor is trying to situate herself directly below the raised buckets so water will dump on her head, and Caleb is running around in sunglasses through the fountains trying to keep up with Big Sis.

Looots of PLAY Outside

A morning run and trip to the park kicked off our day, as we eagerly awaited the opening of the splash park.  After playing in the water, the kids still had energy, so we wandered to the connected playground before heading home.

 

 

 

The SWEEEETEST Smile

 

Caleb's snooze got cut short on the way over, and he was clingy the rest of the afternoon.

Movie and Splash Park Date

Today started with an AMC dollar movie showing in the morning with the A crew.  Although the movie option wasn't our favorite, the theatre experience with the cushy seats, big screen, and buttery popcorn did not disappoint.  After the show let out, we took our spirited bunch to Chipotle for lunch before heading to the Potomac Yards playground and fountains.  The kids ran around together and played in the water under the hot sun.  When it was time for the A family to head home, I walked Eleanor and Caleb to the grocery store for dinner ingredients.
