Grammy left the warm Florida sunshine to spend part of her winter vacation visiting us in frigid Virginia.  Now that’s love!

We were so thrilled to have her back!

The Half

Kyle and I ran our half marathon this weekend, so Gaga came up to watch E and C for the race.  

On the rainy Saturday, we got really wet at Art on the Ave., but that didn't stop us from participating in the many fun art activities.  

As for Sunday, Kyle and I woke up early for the run, which wasn't our fastest.  However, it's the first half that we completed together, so that made it really memorable!  

That afternoon my mom and I met some of her long-time friends in Baltimore to see Othello, starring her friends' daughter.  Our special mom daughter date was a wonderful way to end the weekend!

She's Here!

Grammy Cheryl popped in for a summer visit now that she and the kids are both out of school.  No surprise that there was cupcake baking and plenty of playing outside.  Cheryl also got to join us at Kyle's company picnic at a winery over the weekend, and she and E took an afternoon to tour D.C. on a double decker bus.  Kyle and I were waaaay overdue for a date, so we went out together just the two of us every night, except when we took Eleanor to see "Finding Dory!"  Thanks for another great trip, Grammy!  Can't wait to see you in Montana.
