We had a new little love (Our Owen) to share our hugs and kisses with this Valentine’s Day, and we couldn’t be more grateful. We also had Gaga here with us this year following a visit from Grammy, so our cup was really running over with blessings. Eleanor and Caleb we’re both tickled to share valentine cards with friends in their class and came home with plenty of sweets and warm messages from buds. I had so much fun getting to celebrate with Eleanor at her school party!

E's School Update
The Bears had a very nice week.
We started with Luke's birthday on Monday. His parents came on Monday and we celebrated his 5th birthday with cupcakes. It was fun and the children always love a party.
Tuesday was Valentine's Day. We had a beautiful red healthy snack party. The children also exchanged Valentines. This is a day of love and kindness and the Bears celebrated that.
We read many Valentine books from our February book list . We also read"Gingerbread Man Loose In The School." This is a great book. The children love it. They started making signs saying that the Gingerbread Man is missing. We will finish making our signs and post them around the school next week. We will then go through the school, looking in different classrooms for the Gingerbread Man. I wonder who will find him!
Nico has Happy this week-end. Hope they have a good week-end together.
Enjoy this warm long week-end.
Bud's School Update
We kicked off our week with a room full of LOVE! Thank you so much for a terrific Valentine's celebration in Room 109. The Sprouts enjoyed their fruit snacks and sharing with you their homemade cards, necklaces and bracelets. Everyone worked very hard making these one of a kind gifts. Along with our daily routine we had an exciting introduction to clay which will help build fine motor skills. Each Sprout will take home a paper weight this week which was made with love this past week. We enjoyed the wonderful weather this week on the playground and tried to find all of the clouds. It Looked Like Spilt Milk is slowly being introduced through stretching cotton balls to look like the clouds outside. We will continue a study with this book for a few weeks. Enjoy the day off on Monday!
