More Eggs

Again, the F Family included us in what has now become their annual Easter shindig with lots of food, egg dying and hunting, and kids galore.  Eleanor helped bake and decorate our festive cupcakes (with green grass and jellybean eggs) that we brought for dessert.  Even though she skipped her nap after her morning swim lesson, she was a trooper when it came time to party!

E kept telling me how "excited' she was to decorate the cupcakes.

Round 2

We had Round 2 of Easter partying at the F family's house.  By this time, E was an expert hunter, placing egg after egg in her bucket.

However, she wasn't quite prepared for the curve ball of melted chocolates smearing all over her hands and lace outfit.  Also, her egg dying skills could've used some more practice, as evidenced by the blue fingers on her left hand.  Even her bib couldn't protect against that.

Egg party, you haven't gotten the best of us.  Amateur season is over.  By this time next year, E will be ready for you!

Three Hunny Bunnies

Alexis, Bailey, and Eleanor

These sweet hunny bunnies dipped into the Easter festivities a little early this year with a scrumptious brunch, egg hunt, and egg dye.  Eleanor's highlights were chasing Otis the cat around the R Family home, wearing all her sticker treasures at once, carrying a basket of plastic eggs on each arm, and sprinting up and down the sidewalk... on repeat... despite skinning her knee.  Speaking of repeat, we're already dye-ing to do it all over again next Spring!  Until then, Hoppy Easter!

See Kyle's homemade cinnabunnies? They turned out so cute and yummy!

The hunt is ON!

One basket per arm is the way to go!
