| Anxiously Waiting for the Gates to Open |
When the last minute opportunity to visit Disney arose, we couldn't resist. After a slew of sad days, some Mickey magic was just what we needed! Our morning started very early with sweet Cassidy, who shared her passes with us and let us in on all the park tips. It was not overly crowded, beautifully decorated for Christmas, and cool outside, so we really lucked out. Since we didn't pack E's Minnie clothes, she picked out ears to wear first thing! They went over great when she met Minnie Mouse and got a squeaky kiss from her. We hit up all our favorite rides and even caught Christmas street performers and a huge parade with all of the beloved Disney characters. This was Caleb's first time at The Happiest Place on Earth, and he was amazed by all the sights and sounds. His favorite parts were the indoor playground in the waiting line for Dumbo and the carousel ride. Tears ensued after both came to an end! Caleb was a trooper until around 3 p.m. when he started to wane, and the paci made a permanent appearance. Before leaving, we switched over to Epcot late in the day, so that we could meet Anna and Elsa. This was Eleanor's favorite part by far!
