Caleb's Sprinkle

36 Weeks and 2 Days

Just when it seemed that there was absolutely nothing good about returning to school after spring break vacation, my 2nd grade team hosted a luncheon party in honor of Caleb's impending arrival.  What a sweet and unexpected surprise with lots of BLUE!  I'm so thankful to work with such a fun and thoughtful group of ladies.

The decorations were so cute!  However, I'm definitely not used to seeing all the BLUE.

As if the delicious food and decorations weren't more than enough!

Now you'll see a series of three shots of me trying to make it to my chair before the automatic timer went off for the group photo. 

This one below is my favorite picture because it shows everyone laughing at the huge pregnant lady who scurried back just in the knick of time.

Finally, I added more time to the timer, and everyone looks more civilized and prepared for the flash.

A Shower for Desmond

Last weekend we had the pleasure of honoring Baby Desmond and showering Sam and Hector with much love!  Meg, Danny, Kyle, and I hosted a party to celebrate Desmond's impending arrival.  There were giraffe decorations everywhere, yummy treats, hand decorated onesies and burp cloths, and lots of folks ready to welcome Desmond.  Little Hector Desmond will be here in no time at all, and we couldn't be more excited for the fantastic parents-to-be.  See you March 5th, or somewhere around then, Desmond!  We can't wait to snuggle you.
