Good Morning!

There's no better start to my days than waking up to this precious face.

Buds

We met these little friends, Ryder and Quinn, at our morning bus stop in September.  Caleb and Ryder connected immediately and have now become great buds.  We now go to the same weekly library class together, and the boys will be in the same class next year at school.  They live right around the corner, and we're already looking forward to our next playdate.  God's plans are so good!

Super Caleb

This super guy is super ready for a super sleep with super sweet dreams!

Guess Who

Tonight when I was laying down with Eleanor, she asked for a story... like she does every night.

I told Eleanor about an unnamed young lady.
I described her as beautiful with two permanent teeth on the bottom of her smile that lights up.
She has blue eyes and her nose and cheeks are speckled with freckles.
She's kind and loving and smart and hard working.
She's marvelous and wonderful.
God made her so special, and He loves her sooo much.
I love to kiss her and kiss her and kiss her (as I kissed her and kissed her and kissed her).

Well, Eleanor giggled with delight and said she knew who the story was about.
"Me," she squealed!
I don't know how she guessed it, but she was correct!

Three Months

Full of personality, Owen is so fun at three months and...
  • loves smiling, smiling, smiling
  • is losing his dark hair for blonde
  • sleeps 9 hours at night with one feeding in his new bed
  • gets rather fussy due to tummy troubles
  • grabs tightly and bats at objects
  • talks a lot with the "g" sound
  • just switched to 9 month clothes at 14 lbs. 9 oz.

Our Three!

This is the picture we sent to Daddy on his work trip after his flight home was delayed by five hours.  Cheer up, Daddy!  We're waitin' on you!

Walks

On days with lovely or even tolerable weather, we like to walk to and from Eleanor's school for pickup.  Here we are with all three kiddos!

Ain't nothing sweeter...

than this precious baby boy.

Snow Day

This Friday snow day was... unexpected.  School was cancelled at 5:59 a.m. due to a light dusting, and my plans for the day were altered with E and C home.  Here's how we spent part of our time together.

100th Day

How'd she escape the wrinkles?!?  Flawless skin!

Man, a hundred days of kindergarten really ages a kid.  Look at all of that baby powder... I mean white hair... that comes only from old age!

Before she trotted... I mean hobbled through the school doors, I hollered, "Have a great day at school sweetheart.  Try not to slip and break a hip!"

Happy 100th Day of School!

Nice twisted pipe cleaners... I mean homemade bifocals.

Such poor posture!  Slaying the fashion scene with the pearls and brooch combo though.

Nice curtain rod from our basement... I mean walking cane for the elderly.

Blast from the Past

Actually... Alexis has now spent the night at our house three times! However, the girls can't remember the first two times.  Here's a peek at how the girls have changed from sleepover to sleepover.
