Eleanor's Christmas gift from Grammy and Papaw included tickets to see the Daniel Tiger Live Show in Maryland in January. So, Grammy flew up for the weekend to accompany us to the performance. Grammy made sure Eleanor was more than prepared with the perfect super hero outfit and various Daniel Tiger books and games. When the night of the performance was upon us, Eleanor was beside herself with excitement. Seeing her favorite life size characters and singing along to the show's catchy jingles was absolutely magical!
We also went iceskating over the weekend, and it was Eleanor's first time. Ever since watching a Daniel Tiger episode on iceskating, she has been asking to go. Eleanor was very brave and tackled the ice without hesitation. Kyle helped push her along as she worked on keeping her legs steady on the slippery surface. All of us (except Caleb) got on the ice and had a blast!
Before Grammy returned to Florida, we also squeezed in cupcake baking and a trip to the pool.
I think this may have been one of our favorite visits with Grammy. We were sad to see it end.
