Caleb's Dino-mite Birthday

We celebrated the 2nd birthday of our very favorite dino-lover, Caleb.  He and all his little friends really did have a roarin' good time!

E's School Update

Spring is here and the Bears love it. They are happy to play inside and outside. The warm weather has made them very happy.

We have been reading some fun books. One is called "Stuck". This book is about a little boy who got his kite stuck in a tree. He threw many objects up in the tree to try and get the kite down. The Bears painted a tree just like in the book and are now drawing items that they remember got stuck in the tree. It's very fun for them and it shows the listening skills and cognitive abilities that the Bears have. They are smart Bears!

Bud's School Update

Bells, snails and seeds....what more can a Sprout ask for! We had such a fun week together learning about what a seed needs to grow. In a few weeks we hope that something sprouts and then the sprout can be transplanted into the ground at home. Until then the Sprouts will be observing and taking care of their seeds. The Sprouts also had a great time mixing colors with fingerprints while make a shell for their garden snail. These are super cute and will be displayed on the board outside the class. On Friday, the Sprouts were introduced to bells in the surprise box. The music made was beautiful and we enjoy adding new instruments to the classroom.

Planting

We took science class outside today, which was very appropriate since it involved dirt!  It was a sunny, beautiful day for planting and wandering through the community garden plots.  After class E and C ran around at the playground before heading home.
