Friends

Eleanor shared, and Lowry took a turn on the scooter!

We got to spend precious time with some precious people while we were in North Carolina.  We spent the day talking and wandering around Greenville with the S Family.  Eleanor was so excited to get to finally play with her friend Lowry that I had been telling her about.  Eleanor scootered while everyone else walked downtown to get ice cream.  We toured the S Family's house that's being renovated and then had dinner together.  We can't wait to welcome their sweet baby girl to the world this spring.

Tia drove all the way to Asheville to meet and hold Caleb (and visit with the rest of us).  We met up at the mall and then had dinner together at a yummy Jamaican joint.  Eleanor presented Tia with a cookie she decorated, and Tia shared it Eleanor.  Is it obvious why we love Tia so much?

We had fun watching the girls interact together.

Getting Acquainted with Lowry

Kyle and I drove down to Greenville, SC over Labor Day weekend for a wedding.  While in town, we squeezed in a quick visit with the very sweetest newborn there is.

This is Lowry Camille born on July 22 to my dear friend Katy.  I know I've said this already, but she was the sweetest!  Even though we were strangers, Lowry let me hold her and talk to her without a bit of fuss.  She even looked me straight in the eyes and gave me a few smiles.  Don't worry; I gave Kyle a quick turn to love on Lowry too.  ;-)

Can't wait for Eleanor to meet our new friend Lowry Camille aka "Ladybug" or "Bug."

A Yawn

Ok.  Lowry did start crying when Katy came near for a photo.  Bug smelled her mama and wanted Katy!  Ha!

These two got along great.

Greenville

A quick stop at Reedy River Park and a bite with friends in Greenville was a must as well as an absolute delight.

Babymoon

Kyle and I spent Labor Day weekend at Lake Junaluska for our babymoon.

During this final getaway before Eleanor's debut, we did plenty of resting and relaxing, devoured lots of yummy food, and even got to visit with Greenville friends.

It turns out that we had our trip just in time since Eleanor surprised us by coming early and arrived exactly one week later.
