13 Beautiful Months with Owen

Owen turned 13 months old and he...

• can't get enough of books with different textures to feel and flaps to lift
• likes driving his new Cozy Coupe car from Christmas
• uses the sign "all done" to let us know when he's finished
• brings us a book when he wants to read together
• will lovingly hug his baby or stuffy
• shakes his head "no" and says "up"

 

Owen is 12 Months Old

Our birthday boy hit 12 months and at one year Owen...

• slept through the night for the first time (now that his poor tummy troubles are improving)
• likes stacking blocks and rolling the ball back and forth with Mommy
• uses his "more" sign consistently, especially at mealtimes
• loooooves playground visits and going down the slide again and again
• will lean in toward you with his head down when he wants a kiss on the forehead (the most ADORABLE thing ever)

 

Owen is TWO!

 

Owen O'Brien is TWO years old and...

• asks to eat waffles, applesauce, and mac and cheese regularly
• enjoys LEGOS, Play-Doh, art, and trucks
• is always interested in playing with Bubba and Sister, whom he adores
• his favorite songs are "Oh Happy Day" (that he sings before bed), "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands," "Baby Beluga," and "Baby Shark"
• loves reading books and books and books (especially those with Elmo or parts to feel or move)
• his most commonly used adjectives are "two" and "biiiig"
• sleeps with "two loveys and Baby Mouse"
• is a smiley and friendly joy
• wants to go outside and to the playground everyday

Owie is 11 months old and ...

• taking several steps at a time.
• pushing his walker around the house.
• has five teeth with more on the way.
• enjoyed his first wagon ride.
• is doing lots and lots of babbling.
• dressed as the most adorable rocket ship for his first Halloween.
• is sporting his first pair of kicks.
