To kick off fall, we headed out with a group of friends to an apple orchard and vineyard in Loudon county. It was a warm September afternoon, and the apple selection was pretty picked through. However, that didn't stop the girls from getting a kick out of picking the apples off of the branches and playing with the fallen fruit. Afterwards, the adults got to enjoy themselves too with a wine tasting and peaceful, majestic view.
All in all, apples and wine with friends were quite a nice pairing.
