We rang in the New Year at Hands On! Children's Museum with lots of tiny friends.  Eleanor made a noise maker in the craft room, and at noon all the children gathered on stage to celebrate.  The local news crew was even there, and we got to watch E on television later that day.

Cabin Slow-Down

We were fortunate enough to spend a week of rest and relaxation at Family Circle before returning to the hustle and bustle of life in Northern Virginia.  We got just the right amount of slow-down with rocking chair sitting, cookie baking, sunset watching, snowflake making, new toy exploring, lake walking, and Joey's pancake eating in the heart of the peaceful mountains.

She was so excited to see the cross lit up.

Caleb got to have pancake, too, and he was a fan!
